American Idol continues its audition process this week. One new contestant that will take the stage is Jeremias Williams. We’ve got five facts on the American Idol hopeful below. So, keep reading to learn more about Jeremias.
1) Singing isn’t Jeremias’ day job. He’s actually a fireman! He works for the Apopka Fire Department.
2) He was encouraged to audition for Idol by Lieutenant Jerry Maynard. Maynard heard Williams sing around the firehouse. Then, he pushed him to audition for many years.
3) Jeremias is very glad he pursued it. He called it a “once in a lifetime” opportunity.
4) His nickname is “Mias,” according to his Instagram bio. His bio also has the quote: “Live like you’re running out of time,” with the hourglass emoji, of course.
5) Jeremias is a fan of keeping things positive. He likes to look on the brighter side of things. He’s aware he’s got a good life, and he’s very humbled by all his experiences.
