Meet Jake Clark from American Idol

American Idol airs its last round of auditions this week. One new contestant who will take the stage is Jake Clark. We’ve got five facts on the American Idol hopeful for you below. So, keep reading to learn more about Jake.

1) Jake Clark has already had a taste of Hollywood. He rose to fame on the Brat reality series The Talent Show. While he didn’t win, he’s one of the most memorable contestants. Being on that show allowed his fan base to grow, which exposed his skills in music and acting to a wider audience.

Bonus Fact: He’s verified on Instagram. Jake has 165,000 followers on the social media platform!

2) He’s got a few famous friends. Among them is former Dance Moms star Nia Sioux. Jake was featured on Nia’s track “First Date Kinda Nervous” in 2019. You can check out the official music video below: 

3) Since being on the Brat show, Jake’s released his own music. He talked with YSBNow about the influence behind his 2020 song “Happy,” saying that it “was inspired by experiences that a lot of people go through […] of parents fighting, and questioning what true love is.” 

Bonus Fact: His new single is called “LA Guys.” It’s available on all major music platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc). 

4) When he’s not singing or acting, Jake spends a lot of time at the beach, surfing or hanging with friends. Good thing he lives in California — there are plenty of beaches! 

5) While he’s posted quite a few photos with YouTuber Sydney Serena, there’s no confirmation that the two are an item. Sydney Serena is also good friends with Nia Sioux, so that could explain she and Jake’s quick connection.
