Who is HunterGirl from American Idol Season 20?

1) She’s 23 years old and is originally from Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee. Her genre of music is country, and she’s a singer-songwriter.

2) HunterGirl’s been performing since age 3. By age 9, she was creating her own songs. When she was 11, her family moved to Winchester, TN. This is where she began competing in singing competitions. At 15, she won the 2014 Texaco Country Showdown, according to her website.

3) After graduating high school, HunterGirl moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue her music career. Soon, she was singing at all the famous hotspots like Tootsie’s and The Listening Room.

4) She performed her music while getting her degree from Middle TN State University’s Music Business School. While in college, she won major competitions like Nash Next and Nashville’s Songwriter Association International. This allowed her to open for big names like Florida Georgia Line and Kane Brown.

5) Since she comes from a military background, HunterGirl’s respect for the troops runs deep. She’s worked with many veteran organizations such as Freedom Sings USA and Operation Song.
