You know the saying: “Everything is bigger in Texas?” Well, that also applies to holiday decor, as you’ll see on this week’s Shark Tank. Enter: Holiball, the larger than life Christmas ornament invented by 3 cousins from Houston. If you’re curious to learn more about Holiballs, keep reading below.
1) The 3 cousins who invented Holiball are Jennifer Couch, Amberly Hall and Kristy Moore. The entrepreneurs started their business in 2019 to create “Texas sized” Christmas ornaments.
2) They first began selling at the Chi Omega Christmas Market in Dallas, Texas, but soon expanded to the Home & Gift Buyer Market in Dallas’ Market Center. The ladies were invited to the Atlanta America’s Mart, followed by the Vegas Market Best in Show Showroom.
3) They’ve since launched into 29 states in the USA, and have begun selling in Latin America and Australia. What makes their product unique is that it’s an inflatable ornament. Think bouncy ball, but in the shape of an ornament!
4) Holiball comes in 23 colors right now, and are available in 2 sizes: 18 and 30 inch. You can shop the collection online; they’re also in select Houston retailers.
5) Jennifer, Amberly, and Kristy want to expand their services into more stores across the US, which is why they want the sharks’ help. Hopefully one will bite at their pitch!
