Update on Henry’s Humdingers from Shark Tank

Henry’s Humdingers, the delicious spiced raw honey was pitched on ABC’s Shark Tank during season 5. Henry Miller pitched it to the infamous sharks, and ended up making a deal with Robert Herjavec and Mark Cuban. So, where is it now? What happened to Henry’s business?

Henry’s Humdingers Update 2022

Henry Miller who brought his spiced raw honey to the Shark Tank unfortunately had to close his business. You may be curious as to what Henry is doing today. The baby faced teenager has certainly grown up. He is a 21 year old businessman listing his title as Founder/CEO of Henry’s Humdingers which is part of Orange Socks Unlimited, LLC. Miller graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree from Washington State University in 2019. On his experience with Shark Tank, “Henry says, Overall, if you don’t know the information, you’re not going to be taken seriously. At the very beginning, whenever anybody would ask us questions, they’d look at my parents, nobody would ever look at me. I would just answer the questions each time, until they eventually just all kept asking me.

Shark Tank Update on Henry’s Humdingers

1) As we reported above, Henry Miller was the inventor of the spiced raw honey. At the time of the episode, his honey product was sold in over 100 stores in 31 states! He also found success in charting his honey around food expos, as it’s popular amongst the natural food crowd.

2) On Shark Tank, Henry went in asking for $150,000 for 25%. He ended up with $300,000 for 75%. According to Shark Tank Blog, Henry eventually turned down the original deal to keep the business in the family. He felt confident in his decision, and the company continued to grow.

3) After the episode, there was a 300% sales increase. Then, there was a talk of hooking up with a major yogurt company for a partnership. Henry made contact with Target stores too.

4) In June 2015, new flavors were rolled out on a QVC segment.

5) According to their official website, Henry’s Humdingers is now closed. This is because the family lost their farmhouse in a fire. Their social media isn’t active right now, nor is the website. They made it in business a good 5 years though before this tragedy struck; thankfully, Henry, his parents, and pets made it out of the fire alive.
