Heather McLaughlin is a multitalented, successful woman. She is one of famed matchmaker Patti Stanger’s newest clients. Recently, she went on a date with a man named Art on an episode of Patti’s CW show. But, who is Heather? What does she do for a living? What are her interests? Learn about all of these and more below with these facts.
1) Heather McLaughlin attended InterLake High School, which is located in Bellevue, Washington. This is likely where she grew up, or at least spent her adolescent years.
2) As opposed to attending college, Heather chose to follow through on her goal of becoming a figure skater. She performed with the Ice Theater of New York as well.
3) McLaughlin even took home a gold medal, per her FSC SoCal bio. Check out a slideshow video featuring her skating below!
4) Although she did have to step away eventually, McLaughlin did not stray far. Instead, she became a figure skating instructor at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, California. Now, she teaches the sport she’s excelled at, and allows for others to do the same with her instruction. With over 20 years of experience, not to mention skills in choreography, it’s no wonder she’s a master.
5) Heather is, according to her Instagram bio, a “proud single mom.” She is a mother to a daughter who is practically her “mini me” – blonde hair and all! While her Instagram is private, you can see her daughter in a few photos in the above video, or in her Twitter profile picture.
6) Currently, she also works as a health coach, and is a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She specializes in gut health and hormones, according to her LinkedIn. She has been enjoying this work for almost two and a half years now.
