Update on Guzzle Buddy from Shark Tank

  • by

Wine is a popular alcoholic beverage. But, what if you could turn a whole bottle into your own personal glass? That’s what Guzzle Buddy founders Jennifer Sullivan and Randy Rothfus did with their product. After their Shark Tank episode in season 9, their company took off. Find out where they are now below.

Details on Guzzle Buddy

1) Jennifer and Randy debuted their product on Shark Tank a few years back. They went in asking for $400,000 for 10%. That put their valuation at $4 million. While they didn’t get the exact deal they wanted, they did get an investor. Daymond John was the shark who went in, doing the $400,000 for 25% of the business.

2) Their slogan is “plug it and chug it,” which means you literally plug the wine glass accessory into the bottle, and voila – have at it. No more pouring, no more mess. Not with using one of these easy accessories.

3) They didn’t stop at just wine though. No, there’s also a Beer Guzzle Buddy, and most attachments fit soda or other drink bottles. You can shop all their products on their website, or on Amazon.

4) Something cool is that they listened to customer concerns over having a glass that breaks. So, Randy and Jennifer made one that won’t break called “Guzzle Buddy 2 Go.” Their products are patented, and the logos are copyrighted. They really have thought of everything!

5) Currently, you can follow them on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. They have thousands of followers, subscribers, and fans on each platform. Customers continue to rave about the Guzzle Buddy, giving it 5-star review after 5-star review. It’s even been making a splash on TikTok!

Watch Shark Tank on Fridays at 8 PM ET, only on ABC.
