5 Facts on Go Oats from Shark Tank

  • by

On this week’s all-new episode of Shark Tank, the “first ever oatmeal in a ball” will be presented to the panel of investors. Known as Go Oats, the on-the-go oatmeal idea was created by Nahum Jeannot, and he’s hoping to secure a deal with the sharks. Get more details on his company below.

1) Go Oats combines steel-cut oats, dairy, and other natural flavors like maple, apple, and cinnamon into an easy to heat up sphere that you can take wherever you go.

2) Nahum did a “soft launch” of Go Oats in 2017 so he could gather useful feedback. He did this in order to improve his product before its official launch in 2019. He also trademarked the name Go Oats in that time.

3) The official launch includes Go Oats variety packs. The packs are in 4 or 8, and include either 1 of every flavor, or 2. The flavors are: apple cinnamon, maple brown sugar, blueberry, and cran-walnut.

4) Since they launched, Go Oats has been placed in Whole Foods stores around the country. Nahum hopes to expand his reach and get the word out about his product. That’s part of the reason why he wanted to go on Shark Tank.

5) Judging by the various looks from Barbara Corcoran, Kevin O’Leary, and Lori Greiner, Go Oats seems to have peaked their interest. Each shark has had success with niche items, so their skills would be helpful to Nahum.

Will any of the sharks bite? Find out on an all-new episode of Shark Tank, airing tonight at 8 PM ET on ABC.
