Francheska Yamsuan took the Shark Tank stage by storm when she rolled on in on her bicycle known as the “Icicle Tricycle” with her Coconut Girl ice cream treats. The sharks got into a bit of a bidding war with the California girl. So who is Francheska (Frankie) Yamsuan? Find out below.

1. Francheska Yamsuan also goes by the nickname “Frankie.” Her birthday is May 22 and she is currently 33 years old.

2. She gets a lot of motivation from her mother, Marvi De Guzman. In a Facebook post she says “It’s getting real!!! Shout out to my Mama who inspired me to work my butt off 💕💕”

3. She started her business in 2014. Francheska attended UCLA but dropped out because she “couldn’t focus on one thing.” However, Francheska always had a love for entrepreneurship. She combined that with her interest in healthy desserts and Coconut Girl was born.

4. Frankie was born in the Philippines then made her way to California.

5. Francheska’s company, Coconut Girl sparked a bidding war amongst the sharks. Mark Cuban quickly knew he was interested when he heard about healthy desserts. He offered her $180K for $25%. Then Lori Grenier joined in and said she was interested. Mark jumped and told Frankie he was out if she entertained Lori’s offer. Frankie looked at Mark and asked if he could lower his equity percentage. She countered with 20% and Mark took the deal.
