Shark Tank is a life-changing show. No one knows that more than the people who pitch to investors. One idea can be changed into a megastar product. A new company diving into the tank is FORT. Fort is the original magnetic foam blocks with waterproof fabric letting children be extra creative. They will appear on the all-new April 1 episode. Below are five facts and an update about them. 1) The business was founded by Conor Lewis. He had a simple idea: build great pillow forts. He left a note in his phone titled “magnetic pillow forts” and the wheels were in motion. Later, he launched a Kickstarter campaign. It was very successful. Since then, he has launched a website.

2) Magnets help hold the walls together, so the “building” doesn’t collapse. The products are play forts made of foam and leather. They are held together with magnets. But, they are safe for kids and pets. Conor also made sure the forts are stain proof and waterproof. 

3) Each building has 12 pieces. Walls, foundation, topper, etc. are all included. You can also buy accessories like a suede cover.

4) Colors include: black, gray, blue, green, teal, and purple. Kids will love them because they look like castles, or cool structures. Parents will approve because they are safe and affordable. Without a doubt, we could see these in the retail space too.

5) Conor hopes to take his business to the next level. Also, he may need help with inventory because his products are already selling out! Perhaps a shark can help him reach these goals. Nevertheless, he’s sure to wow them with his pitch.
