Contestants from American Idol season 18 are coming back for a second chance at stardom. American Idol is inviting 10 contestants back to sing for America’s vote for a special episode on April 19, 2021. Faith Becnel will get her chance tonight.
Who is Faith Becnel?
1. Faith is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. She and 2020 Idol winner Samantha Diaz teamed up for a duet of Nat King Cole’s song, “The Christmas Song.”
2. For her first American Idol audition, she sang “Lady Marmalade” by P!nk, Christina Aguilera, and Lil’ Kim. All judges said “yes” to her going to Hollywood.
3. Faith made it to the Top 20 in American Idol for season 18. She sang these songs, Lady Marmalade, Location, It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World, Cry Baby, Ain’t Nobody, and River.
4. She is documenting her return to Idol on Instagram. Faith posted this behind the scenes photo in the makeup chair. She said, “Glam Time💃🏼 THANK YOU to my @americanidol team!! WATCH ME ON IDOL TONIGHT & VOTE VOTE VOTE”
5. Faith happily took a group selfie with the season 19 contestants.
