American Idol season 20 has brought tremendous talent so far this year. One new contestant taking the stage is Emily Faith. She’s a contemporary Christian artist who’s super excited about being on the show. Get to know more about her below with these five facts.
5 Facts About Emily Faith from American Idol
1) As mentioned above, she’s a contemporary Christian artist. But, even more specified is she’s a contemporary Christian country music artist. Already on her music resume is an EP called Rebel, released in 2021. Her Idol experience will broaden her audience for sure.
2) In addition to being a singer, she is a pageant girl. After winning Miss Tulsa 2022, her next goal would be the Miss Oklahoma title.
3) In high school, she was on the student council. As you can see in the photoset below, she received distinctive honors with the graduation cords. What excited her most was her graduation cap though, which said “all thanks to Jesus, coffee, and Mom and Dad.”
4) She’s a member of Tri Delta, a sorority at the University of Oklahoma. It’s also known as Delta Delta Delta. She’s a freshman, majoring in journalism, and is a “little” with 3 “bigs.” Those are 3 older sorority sisters mentoring her. You can see their “family photo” below:
5) In 2020, she was chosen as one of Oklahoma’s “Next Gen Under 30.” But, perhaps even more impressive is what happened in 2021. She spent a week at the Oklahoma Senate.
