5. On her American Idol experience: “After 3 hours in line outside and 6 hours sitting on the floor in this room, I got to sing. I sang my originals and played guitar. Out of about 1,500 auditioneres I was one of around 50 who got a “golden ticket” and was asked to move forward. I completed an interview, performed in front of a camera and got my photo taken. Nearly 12 hours later I left the building, hoping for an email in the next few weeks saying I’m going to hollywood. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼”
