1. Krish Himmatramka founded “Do Amore” in 2014. While it is a symbol of love, there is actually much to be desired in regards to the ethics of diamond excavations and how they are traded around the world.
2. Do Amore has a very high rating on Google at 4.8 out of 5 stars with 40 reviews. Here are some of the reviews.
“I can’t recommend this company highly enough! I emailed them with a half-baked idea for a complicated interlocking ring set and not only did they entertain my slightly insane scheme, they turned it into a pair of rings even more beautiful than I had imagined.” – Geoffrey Andrews.
“We LOVED our experience with DoAmore three times now! We’ve used them for all of our bands and engagement ring!! Recently, I created the men’s wedding band for my fiance and as soon as he put the ring on his finger we were in FULL HEART EYES!!!! It is perfect for him!” – Nathalie Sarju
3. They believe in natural diamond sourcing.
From Do Amore: “We have removed all Russian diamonds from our website. All remaining natural diamonds are blockchain diamonds, recycled diamonds, or Canada Mark. We have sent letters to the GIA, and the Kimberley Process requesting them to stop certifying Russian diamonds and Russian diamond rough. If you’d like to help influence change, feel free to reach out to us and we can provide links and a suggested statement that you can send to the GIA and KP.”
4. It looks like they update their Facebook page about once per month. The most recent being a picture from their founder on the Shark Tank stage, teasing the show appearance for Do Amore. The one previous is titled, “Aspen with a pear-shaped moissanite! The nature-inspired detail underneath the stone is the perfect touch.” It shows a video of the diamond ring.
They seem to post more often on Instagram and created a similar one to the Facebook post.
5. It is important to Do Amore to give back. With every ring brings clean water to a person in need. The detail they include on their website says the following, “Many families in developing countries do not have access to clean water. Instead, they resort to unsafe water for their daily needs even though it is infested with bacteria and viruses, and will likely make them sick or cost them their life.”
