America will meet Daysia Reneau on season 22 of NBC’s The Voice. This girl will take the stage with her super talented vocals and stage presence for her blind audition. Will she get a four chair turn around from coaches Blake Shelton, John Legend, Gwen Stefani and newcomer Camila Cabello? Let’s learn more about her now.

How old is she?

1. Daysia is amongst the teenage contestants on this season of The Voice. She is 17 years old and a high school student in Kansas. Other teenage contestants include Reina Ley and Rowan Grace.

A Young Whitney Houston

2. She has an uncanny resemblance to a young Whitney Houston. Whitney happens to be one of her inspirations. One of her favorite covers to do is Whitney Houston’s hit, “I Will Always Love You.” Daysia sings this in dedication to her late mother. Watch her sing below.

Crazy

3. Daysia is an old soul and it suits her so well. In a sweet video posted, she is singing Patsy Cline’s “Crazy” while dancing with one of her biggest fans – her great grandmother.

4. We don’t know quite how tall Daysia is, but she jokingly said “I’m so tall holy guacamole” in a TikTok video created to promote her audition on the Voice.
