Who is Christian McGuckian from American Idol?

American Idol continues with its audition process this week. One new contestant to take the stage is Christian McGuckian. We’ve got five facts on the American Idol hopeful below. So, keep reading to learn more about Christian.

Update on 3/21/21: Christian says she barely sings in front of other people. She is currently a maid and said she doesn’t want to be a maid forever. She sang a song acapella. Katy Perry stopped her to help her stay on rhythm after Christian rushed the song on stage. Unfortunately she didn’t make it to the next round.

Did Christian McGuckian receive a golden ticket?

Update: Yes she did! She impressed Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie with her “magic country stuff.”

1) Christian is 21 years old and from Easley, South Carolina.

2) She auditioned for the judges in San Diego, California. She told her local news station that she “didn’t feel anything” the day of her audition. Well, that is until she was about to walk in and sing! Then, her nerves kicked in a little. She’s a country artist, so expect a lovely rendition of a classic or current country hit.

3) Apparently the small-town girl took her first plane ride to get to the West Coast.

4) While she’s somewhat active on social media, she’s not big on self-promotion. She did however, post this leading caption “Big things [happening] this weekend!” alongside this photo below:

5) She has three brothers. Their names are JC, Brian, and Noah. She’s the only daughter of her family. But, they all get along great. She even posts about them every National Siblings Day! How nice is that?
