Meet Cheryl K from American Idol

American Idol continues auditions this week. One new contestant who will audition is Cheryl K. We’ve got five facts on the American Idol hopeful below. So, keep reading to learn more about Cheryl. 

When is Cheryl K’s Birthday?

Cheryl is a Sagittarius and was born on November 24, 1995 which makes her 26 today.

She isn’t a newbie to Hollywood! You can see one photo of her after she recorded at Capitol Records in California. Then she also posted a photo of herself on the red carpet for #AFIFEST 2019. This was for the I’m Your Woman Movie.

1) Her full name is Cheryl Koh. She goes by Cheryl K. 

2) She was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She is 25 years old, and her birthday is in November.

Bonus Fact

Cheryl also has a dog named Jimmy Choo the Pom Pom which is 3/4 pomeranian and 1/4 poodle. He was named after a shoe!

3) In 2018, she graduated from USC. She majored in Business Administration and minored in Music. 

4) Cheryl’s already had a star-studded moment. She sang the opening and end credits in the 2018 film Crazy Rich Asians. Apparently, director Jon M. Chu discovered Cheryl after seeing a snippet of a YouTube cover she did. 

5) Cheryl represented Malaysia in the World Championships of Performing Arts. She won four gold medals including a Hollywood Industry award in 2010.
