]]>Ryan took to Instagram to make the announcement with a photo and text overlay of his message to everyone.
It reads: “I’m truly humbled to be stepping into the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak. I can say, along with the rest of America, that it’s been a privilege and pure joy to watch Pat and Vanna on our television screens for an unprecedented 40 years, making us smile every night and feel right at home with them. Pat, I love the way you’ve always celebrated the contestants and made viewers at home feel at ease. I look forward to learning everything I can from you during this transition.
Many people probably don’t know this but one of my first jobs was hosting a little game show called “Click” for Merv Griffin 25 years ago so this is truly a full circle moment for me and I’m grateful to Sony for the opportunity.“
For those curious if Vanna White will continue to turn letters, you are in luck. She will stay on with Ryan. Here’s what he had to say about that:
I can’t wait to continue the tradition of spinning the wheel and working alongside the great Vanna White.
People jumped on this announcement quickly. One of the first was his longtime friend and co-worker, Kris Jenner.
Her response said, “Congratulations!!!!!!

Then Ryan Tedder from One Republic said, “WOWWWWWWWW. Congrats dude. Legendary”
Chris Harrison from The Bachelor fame said “Congratulations my friend!”
Of course Ryan’s radio show’s official Instagram also responded with a clapping hands emoji.
Gretchen Rossi said “Ahhh congrats!!”
Ross Matthews was excited saying “WOOHOO!!!! 
”
Patty Rodriguez was thrilled with her comment, “RYAN!!!!! 
”
Other celebs and company pages congratulating Ryan included Robin Arzon, NYC102.7 KIIS FM, USA Today Life, Go to Girlfriend, and Vintage Broncos.
Mind you this was all within the first hour of the post which also had the comment numbers increasing pretty rapidly.

4. Dylan studied psychology at Muhlenberg College and also took part in Chamber Singers, dance, theater, and the Psychology Club
5. He has a connection to motorcycles. Dylan is the volunteer emcee for the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America since 2012 according to Linkedin.

]]>Who is Leslie Jones?
1. Before she made it to Saturday Night Live, Leslie began her stand-up comedy on a much smaller scale. She tried out for a school competition, and ended up winning. After that, she picked up and moved to Los Angeles.
2. Leslie kind of owes her major break to Chris Rock, as the fellow comedian saw her performing and gave her name to big name managers. Eventually this led to her getting booked for Saturday Night Live.
3. Her comedic influences include people like Lucille Ball, Eddie Murphy, and Carol Burnett.
4. Her social media presence was so great that in 2016, her video reactions from the Olympics caught the attention of NBC. They even offered for her to come to Rio, and she accepted. Leslie ended up covering swimming, track and field, beach volleyball, and gymnastics.
5. The reboot of Supermarket Sweep isn’t Leslie’s first time hosting. In 2017, she hosted the BET Awards. Supermarket Sweep, according to ET, combines pop culture knowledge with grocery shopping as contestants try to win cash prizes. Leslie will be taking over for longtime host David Ruprecht, and is even fulfilling her dream of appearing on the show (she tried out a long while back, but didn’t make it on.)
