1) As mentioned above, she was a member of the band Wilson Phillips. It consisted of she, her younger sister Wendy, and their friend Chynna Phillips. Their debut album sold over 10 million copies in 1990. They released a second album called Shadows and Light before disbanding in 1993. 2) In 2004 and 2010, the band reunited for the first and second times, respectively. Later on, Carnie, Wendy, and Chynna went on to provide background vocals for Rihanna’s “FourFiveSeconds” song with Kanye West and Paul McCartney.
3) Carnie’s the daughter of The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson. Her uncles were the late Beach Boys co-founders Dennis and Carl Wilson. Her cousin is Mike Love, as well as his brother Stan, and Stan’s son, Kevin Love of the Cleveland Cavaliers. She’s married to musician and music producer Robert Bonfiglio. Together, they have two daughters: Lola and Luciana.
4) After her music career, she went on to host Carnie!, the daytime talk show. She was a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight and frequently fills in on CBS’ The Talk.
5) In 2017, she and Tiffany Miller opened baked goods brand Love Bites by Carnie. It operates out of Sherwood, Oregon, but you can buy online and they ship nationwide. They recently celebrated their fourth anniversary since launching.
