ABC’s Claim to Fame premiered on June 26 for a second season. Cohosts Kevin and Frankie Jonas introduced 12 contestants who are all related to someone famous. Just like last season, they must try to keep their identities secret from the group. The first contestant to be eliminated was Carly Reeves. She is the niece of famed actor Tom Hanks. But, what else do you know about her? We have five fun facts below, including age and occupation. Keep reading to learn more about Carly.
1) You may be wondering how Carly is related to Tom Hanks. Well, her mother Lily Reeves, is Rita Wilson’s sister. Rita Wilson is Tom Hanks’ wife; they have been married since 1988. In the family photo below, you can see Rita on the far right, and Carly’s mother, Lily, next to her.
2) She was born in 1984. If you go off of the last time she posted about her birthday, then it’s assumed her birthdate is January 25. This makes her 39 years old.
3) Like a lot of people in Hollywood, she wears many hats when it comes to careers. Carly works in real estate and property management, all while acting in commercials, television episodes and films. Did we mention she also does sketch comedy, theatre and is a social media influencer? Check out her work below!
4) Always one to put a funny spin on things, Carly did address her Claim to Fame exit on Instagram, writing: “I know it’s not a good look but I really wanted to play along with the rest of the cast . Hope I made you laugh at least! Until I make you…laugh again.”
The photo shows Carly photoshopped next to the iconic photo of Tom Hanks’ character Forrest Gump sitting on a bench, which was the clue on the show that gave her away.
In addition, Carly went on the Zachary Reality show and said “That’s just classic Carly right there” in reference to her upset about being the first contestant to go home on Claim to Fame.
5) Although she has famous relatives, a lot of people have also said Carly looks like one famous celebrity in particular: Margot Robbie! So much so that she posted a side-by-side comparison on her Instagram.
