American Idol airs its last round of auditions this week. One new contestant who will take the stage is Cameron Allen. We’ve got five facts on the American Idol hopeful for you below. So, keep reading to learn more about Cameron.
Update 3/22/21: Cameron Allen was paired up with Graham DeFranco. Unfortunately Cameron didn’t make it to the next round.
1) Cameron is from Oklahoma.
2) He plays baseball for Cowley County, which is in Kansas. He’s always been into sports, especially baseball. The mascot for the community college’s baseball team is a tiger.
3) He became friends with fellow Idol contestants Zachary D’Onofrio, Dzaki Sukarno, and Cecil Ray. Check out an Instagram post about his whole experience below:
4) His last known relationship was with Jazmine Stratton. The two haven’t posted a photo together since May 2020 though. So, it’s unclear if they are still together or not.
Bonus Fact: His high school sweetheart was Haley Mitchell. They even attended their senior prom together. It appears they broke up amicably before they both went off to college.
5) Cameron’s been playing guitar and singing since he was little. If you watch this Instagram video, you’ll see the guitar he’s holding as a toddler is bigger than he is!
