It may still be winter, but some people are in a summer state of mind. Those people are exactly the types of people that the owners of byoót has in mind. Byoót is a unique, luxe swimwear brand that aims to make fashion more accessible — literally! The design is based on buttons, which allow for easy removal and reuse. With fun colors and pretty designs, byoot is taking the swimwear market by storm. To learn more about the company before they make their Shark Tank debut, keep reading.
Details on byoót
1) Byoót was invented by Elyce Billany. She had the idea after struggling for the umpteenth time to pull up her own one piece swimsuit. So, she decided to find a solution to her problem on her own.
2) As we said earlier, the design is button-based. This allows for easy access if you would need to make a quick change, or use the restroom. The buttons blend well with each suit, so you won’t stick out like a sore thumb.
3) Currently, the swimsuits come in red, black/white, a paisley-floral-like pattern, and stripes. According to Elyce, she uses a reputable manufacturer in New York City, so you’re getting the highest quality fabric at an affordable price point.
4) In addition to their swimwear, there are accessories and pandemic essentials like masks. There’s even a children’s book! You can currently purchase all of these items, including their bathing suits, on their website. Speaking of the pandemic, byoót is even offering virtual fittings. How cool is that?
5) Elyce’s company has been seen on Style Insider, Paula Sands Live, and Glady’s. They have rave reviews: from 5-stars to people saying the quality is “unmatched.” Perhaps that will be enough to catch Lori Greiner’s eye? Or maybe guest judge Kendra Scott could take an interest.
To see what happens, tune in to Shark Tank on Feb. 19 at 8 PM ET only on ABC.
