Butter Cloth from Shark Tank Update

  • by

Butter Cloth is a line of super-soft men’s shirts. Created by Danh Tran, the well-crafted dress shirts were seen on Shark Tank a few years ago. Now, the company is even more successful. So, where is Danh’s business now? Find out more about the luxurious shirts below.

Details on Butter Cloth

1) As we mentioned above, Danh Tran is the inventor. He hated wearing dress shirts growing up, so, he decided to make his own. He traveled to China to begin developing his idea for softer shirts, and the rest is history.

2) Before Shark Tank, they had an impressive $500,000 in sales. After the episode, they did that much in only two weeks, according to CNBC. Danh landed a deal with Robert Herjavec for $250,000!

3) In 2019, they introduced polos and sweaters to their brand. The year 2020 had plans for going into the retail space. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, those plans were put on hold. You can still shop them on their official website, and on Amazon.

4) Even though Butter Cloth isn’t in stores yet, they’ve continued to come out with new designs. From cool solids to nice patterns, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The 100% long fiber cotton is breathable and lightweight, but still looks put together. It’s the best of both worlds.

5) From being verified on Instagram to having celebrity backers like former Lakers star Metta World Peace, there’s nothing Butter Cloth can’t do. The sky’s the limit for this brand, so don’t be surprised if Danh accomplishes his 5 year goal of being a household name.
