Who is Anneliese van der Pol?
1. Anneliese was born in the Netherlands, and is a Dutch-American actress. She even retains dual American and Dutch citizenship.
2. She is probably best known for her longstanding role as Chelsea Daniels, both on the original Disney Channel series That’s So Raven, and it’s spinoff Raven’s Home.
3. Anneliese and her co-star Raven Symone are just as close in real life as their onscreen counterparts Chelsea and Raven. They’ve remained friends for almost 20 years!
4. She made her Broadway debut as Belle in Beauty & the Beast in 2007.
5. She’s no stranger to the theater: she’s been acting in plays since she was little! Other roles Anneliese has held include Gwendolyn Fairfax in The Importance of Being Earnest and Clara in The Nutcracker.
6. Anneliese has a great voice. She’s been featured on Disney Channel soundtracks, sang the end credit song in the Disney Channel original movie Stuck in the Suburbs, and did background vocals on the That’s So Raven theme.
7. She, along with her fellow That’s So Raven castmates, won a Young Artists Award for “Outstanding Young Performers in a TV Series.”
