February 14 is Valentine’s Day. But, for contestants of American Idol, it’s audition time. One such participant is Anilee List, who tried out for the all-new season. We’ve got five facts about her below. So, keep reading to learn more about the American Idol hopeful.

Update on 3/29/21: Anilee List sang “Ain’t Nobody” by Rufus and Chaka Khan. Anilee List made it to the Top 24!
1) Anilee has been performing since she was 4. She began in California with theater.
2) It wasn’t until high school that she got into contemporary music. She began honing her voice and craft then too.
3) Anilee became a US Presidential Scholar in the Arts in 2018.
4) She’s enrolled at Berklee College of Music in Boston. She’s a vocal performance major.
5) She has Tourette’s Syndrome, but hasn’t let it stop her from pursuing her dreams. She’s worked with the Tourette Association of America, and even released her debut single, “Take Time.”
