The Voice is back and better than ever this week. One contestant that will take the stage in season 20 is Andrew Marshall. We’ve got five facts about The Voice hopeful for you below. So, keep reading to learn more about Andrew.
1) Andrew Marshall is a cancer survivor. He was diagnosed with leukemia in 2016, and finished his treatments in February 2019. He recently celebrated his two-year cancer-free anniversary.
2) He’s been steadily on the rise with Spotify. He ended last year with close to 5,000 streams from 30 countries. Pretty impressive!
3) Andrew met John Mayer, and showed him his first EP, Letters from Lowell. John recited the first line of “Fate” back to him, and they even jammed out acoustically. Check out Andrew’s full post on the significance of that day below:
4) Next, Andrew released the EP Growing Pains. He wrote that these songs “tell a story” about how he’s grown since his first extended play. Listen to a snippet below:
5) Andrew’s from Lowell, Massachusetts, which is a little over half an hour from Boston.
