oReonited. Get it? Haha? ————————————————————————— While this may be one of the worst and dumbest caption jokes I've ever attempted, there's nothing dumb about the people I'm sandwiched between. There are few people more supportive, encouraging, selfless, loving, accepting, and loyal than these two beside me. ༌ Community. Connection. Relationships. It's what we were MADE FOR. ༌ To be FULLY KNOWN is both our deepest desire as well as our greatest fear. Because it's scary. It's uncertain. People often fail us. And our hearts are fragile. But I pray that you NEVER stop searching for those who will love your fullest, truest, most authentic self. ༌ Because who you are is NO mistake. ༌ Over the years, I've longed for… begged for… prayed for friendship and community where I might be fully loved and fully accepted. Where the friendship consisted of more than a one-way street of striving and hoping, only to end in DISCOURAGEMENT and let down. ༌ But, had I given up the pursuit there, I would never know the fullness of friends who truly love you, pour into you, and help you grow. ༌ We were made for this. And no amount of hurt and discouragement (as painful as it might be ♥️) is ever worth giving up the pursuit for that which we were made for. ༌ I'm thankful to be fully know, accepted, and loved by these two incredibly people. And I pray you find/never stop seeking a friendship like that. ༌ #LifeToTheFullest #LifeTogether #YouWereMadeForThis

2. Alex can officiate weddings! Looke here as he officiates a wedding between Sami and Derek. He says, However, the greatest joy of mine at a wedding is when I have the special honor and privilege of being a part of what you see above.
Officiating a wedding. The opportunity to bring together two people I love so dearly on the most wonderful day of their lives. Love never fails… Special thanks to @sami_barth and Derek as well as @cfleen and @mdfleener for giving me the honor… And for @jake.erceg and @micolelane, I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of yours in just 6 months. Love you two, and thank you again for asking.
Sincerely, the #HopelessRomantic”

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails…" 1 Corinthians 13 v 4-8 As many of you know… Weddings are some of my favorite occasions to be a part of. Whether it's serving as a groomsmen, turning up on the dance floor, shoving my face with free food and drinks or catching the garter at a wedding I wasn't even invited to (it was an accident, I swear!), I really do love it all. However, the greatest joy of mine at a wedding is when I have the special honor and privilege of being a part of what you see above. Officiating a wedding. 3. Alex Morrissey is originally from Oregon where he went to visit family from where he lives in Florida. On his trip there he ran into quite a predicament when his car was broken into and had to drive with the sun roof being broken and being rained on. His positive attitude is contagious. Watch the video.

4. He is a Christian and often is highly inspiring with his very transparent way of living. His Instagram bio even includes a scripture for John 10:10.

5 On his experience on Flirty Dancing: What I really hope you see as you watch… is a young guy using the context of something he loves, dance, to take a risk on something he’s terrified of, love. Because, as scary as it may be, to be fully known and fully loved is what we’ve all been made for and is something we all deserve.

Honest Alex Hour: There are few things in life I fear more than taking a risk on love. • I’m good at being liked. It’s second nature to me. I can walk into just about any setting and come away with a room full of best friends. It’s safe. It’s comfortable. And the chances it ends in hurt are low. “Like” is fun. “Love”… well, that’s another story. . | “I love you.” | Something I’ve only shared with one other person in my life. It was exciting. It was passionate. It was adventurous. It was an experience that felt similar to the pages you can’t stop reading of the most captivating Nicholas Sparks book (shout out to my Notebook lovers). And it was anything but safe. . | “I never actually loved you.” | The statement to come, months later as the larger than life journey came to a messy, screeching halt. Spoken with casual honesty, yet irreversible consequence. It was hurt. It was confusion. It was messy. It was confirmation that every one of my insecurities about my ability to be loved might actually be true. . | 5 years. |
The amount of time I journeyed comfortably in my safety zone of “good at being liked” because risking being loved was in no way worth the hurt. And so I filled life with anything else. . | “Share your truth.” | Words shared with me from nearly every individual a part of the Flirty Dancing experience. A terrifying concept, as the last time I felt I had shared my truest self, it was met with hurt and rejection. . “To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. It is what we need more than anything.” . Did this experience end in love? I guess you’ll have to wait and see. But in all honesty, that’s something even I’m still figuring out myself. . What I really hope you see as you watch… is a young guy using the context of something he loves, dance, to take a risk on something he’s terrified of, love. Because, as scary as it may be, to be fully known and fully loved is what we’ve all been made for and is something we all deserve. . #LifeToTheFullest #SpeakYourTruth #FlirtyDancing
