Who is Alex Miller from American Idol?

February 14 is Valentine’s Day. But, if you’re a contestant on American Idol, then it’s audition time. One such participant from this all-new season is Alex Miller. We’ve got a few facts about the vibrant talent for you below. So, if you’re curious to learn more about the American Idol hopeful, then keep reading.

Update on 3/28/21: He chose to sing “Silver Wings” by Merle Haggard. Alex said he chose an old song but tried to bring some modern things into it. You can see Lionel watching and smiling as Alex performs.

Unfortunately Alex did not make it into the Top 24. He told his father that he didn’t make it but he said, “we had a heck of a time out here in Hollywood.”

Update 3/22/21: Alex Miller was paired up with Emisunshine for the duets week. The two sang “Minor Harmony” which was a challenge to both of them. Luke Bryan told Alex to show he’s a real artist by throwing everyone off by maybe even singing a pop song. Alex and Emisunshine both made it through to the next round of American Idol.

Update 3/21/21: Alex Miller was chosen to move ahead to the Hollywood Week duets.

1) Alex is 17 years old. He hasn’t even graduated yet, but he’ll be on one of the most popular shows in America! He’s from Lexington, Kentucky.

2) Apparently, during his audition, he got to duet with one of the judges! Country star Luke Bryan joined Alex on the stage during his song. How awesome is that?

3) Alex is a singer-songwriter, and plays the guitar.

4) He’s got over 3,200 Facebook followers/likes. He was spotted on Good Morning America for his American Idol appearance.

5) Alex is influenced by country artists, from classics like Hank Williams, to more contemporary talents like Luke Bryan.
