American Idol is bringing us all new auditions on March 7th on ABC. One new contestant who will take the stage to sing and play the piano is Abby LeBaron. We have five facts on the American Idol hopeful for you below. So, keep reading to learn more about Abby!
Abby is only 19 years old! She was born in 2001 or 2002.
Abby is from Springville, Utah which is just south of Provo in the center of the state.
1) Abby LeBaron’s music account was made in November 2020. You can follow her there @AbbyLebMusic.
2) On February 11, she posted an IGTV of her singing. The song featured was Lady Gaga’s “Always Remember Us This Way.” She said that this “may or may not” have been one of the songs she did for the Idol audition. Check it out below:
3) Abby brought her mom Rachel along to the tryout. Abby’s dad has been very supportive of the journey. She also has three brothers, and two dogs.
She was also part of the high school jazz band in Springville where she sang the solo “At Last.”
4) According to her IG, Olivia Rodrigo is Abby’s celebrity crush. She even sang her song “Drivers License” on TikTok. You can see the beautiful black and white video below:
5) In addition to singing, Abby is also a talented pianist.
There were some false facts out there about Abby. One in particular is that this isn’t her first time on American Idol. She dispelled this rumor in an Instastory by saying, “actually no, this is my first time auditioning.”
Abby has green eyes.
It looks like Abby has a boyfriend named Max Holman.
