SquareKeg is a company trying to make drinking easier and more convenient. They stepped out on the Shark Tank stage with their presentation of bringing the party wherever you go, literally with their SquareKeg portable drinks system. We should get to know Tim Loucks and his company, Shark Tank plus find out where they are today.
First, what is SquareKeg?
According to the SquareKeg website, this is what the product is:
“Our signature “square” shape kegs and premium tap hardware make SquareKeg’s patent pending technology unmatched in the world of draft beverages.”
They use food and beverage grade stainless steel on the product to give you the ultimate draft beverage experience.
Now that we know what the product does and the patent pending technology inside, now we need to know even more.
Who owns SquareKeg?
1. The owner of SquareKeg, and the person who presents the company on Shark Tank is Tim Loucks.
Tim Loucks is from Spokane, Washington and is listed as the President of SquareKeg. According to his Linkedin, he started the company in December of 2017. He works full time on SquareKeg.

When did SquareKeg launch?
2. According to Loucks, the company started in the middle of 2020. However it was a few years more in the making before launch hence the 2017 start time on Tim’s Linkedin page.
The beauty of this product is it can be used anywhere, fill it with any drink (doesn’t even have to be alcohol), multiple ways to get the drink out and customize the container however you want. Not to mention it is a great gift.
3. We said it before, the SquareKeg is customizable. You can put any logo on it to make it specific to a brand. Here is a little more on how to customize the SquareKeg. This could be good to use in your own restaurant or to include with a sponsor’s name on it for a sporting event or major venue.

5. Today they have two products. The SquareOne and SquareOne Nitro edition. The SquareOne (find it on Amazon) is a mini keg, stainless steel keg and tap system. It is highly rated, garnering a nearly 5 star review with over 20 reviews currently on Amazon.
The SquareOne Nitro product can be found on their website. The difference is that it is built to serve the frothiest of beverages.
