5 Facts & Update on Shark Tank’s Vabroom

  • by

Cleaning: a necessary task that most people dislike. But, what if you could make it easier? Enter Vabroom, the vacuum-broom hybrid. This genius idea appeared on season 13 of ABC’s hit entrepreneurial show Shark Tank. They even secured a deal with an investor on the panel! Find out who that was below, plus get an update on where the company is now.

Update & 5 Facts on Vabroom from Shark Tank

1) Trever Lambert and John Vadnais founded Vabroom. The duo wanted to create a product that didn’t necessarily replace your vacuum cleaner, but was a better version of your broom.

2) It tackles smaller messes like spills. The vacuum-broom hybrid picks up dirt and other debris all without a dustpan. No more fussing with a broom and dustpan, because this product makes cleaning easier and more fun.

3) Key features include: lightweight, a smart nozzle, powerful suction, and it’s cordless. It is “convenience-focused and performance driven,” reviewers say. No wonder the company did $3.1 million in sales last year! Did we mention they were in Bed Bath & Beyond stores too? Impressive!

4) Now, there’s only the one product. But, Trever and John received plenty of press since appearing on Shark Tank. Outlets include Trend Hunter and Digital Trends. It’s a huge hit with busy moms too.

5) Kevin O’Leary made a deal with the inventors. The original ask was $350,000 for 2.5% equity. Kevin matched that offer, but there was a catch. There’s a $3 cost per unit until $700,000.

Shark Tank season 13 episodes are available on Hulu.
