Update on Eterneva from Shark Tank

  • by

If you’ve lost a loved one, then you’re familiar with the stages of grief. Everyone’s journey is different, but one company aims to bring the death care industry up to speed. That company is Eterneva, and it was featured on Shark Tank in 2019. Below, find out if their cremation diamond product got a deal, and what happened after the show.

Eterneva Update

1) Adelle Archer and Garrett Ozar founded the company in 2016. Just 3 years later, they were appearing on Shark Tank to discuss their cremation diamond. Essentially, you can put ashes, or hair, or, for cremated pets, some fur, into the kit you receive in the mail. Those remains go back to their headquarters. Then, it’s turned into a “diamond seed,” according to Business Insider. The diamond is made into a colored stone, and then set into a ring or other piece of jewelry.

2) On Shark Tank, they secured a deal with Mark Cuban for $600,000 for a 9% stake in their company.

3) An edge that Eterneva has is its millennial marketing strategy. They advertise on TikTok! One of the goals is to take the death care industry into modern times, as it can be a bit old school.

4) They partnered with funeral homes to expand their business. But, going forward, Adelle and Garrett are looking at institutional investments. The funding will go towards expanding their facilities.

5) In addition to their TikTok account, Eterneva also has Instagram and Facebook profiles. They are verified on Instagram with over 61,000 followers, have 29,868 Facebook fans, and 1.2 million followers on TikTok.
