Khatira was born in Kabul which is the capital and largest city of Afghanistan.

How did Khatira meet Michael Ealy?
The pair met in 2008. They went on a lunch date to a Viet noodle bar and ordered the same meal they always have around Valentine’s Day. She said to herself that she was going to marry Michael and was very attracted to the fact he had no baggage at 26 years old.
Khatira is a huge Broadway fan and loves to share special musicals like Hamilton with her children.
She is tight with her friends including Yaani King Mondschein who was her first friend in Los Angeles, California.
