Every so often, there’s an entrepreneur or two who makes a shocking decision. They actually walk away from a deal offered on ABC’s Shark Tank. That’s precisely what John and Chelsea Pinto did, and they’ve never looked back since. The product they pitched to investors was the aromatherapy inhaler called Boom Boom. So, what happened after Shark Tank? Where is the company now? Find out all that information below.
What’s Boom Boom from Shark Tank?
1) As we mentioned earlier, creators Chelsea and John walked away from an offer. Robert Herjavec offered them $300,000 for 36% of their company. But, John countered with 15%, and then 20%. According to Forbes, neither counter worked for Robert, so, John and Chelsea walked.
2) Inspired by a trip to Thailand – where everyone used inhalers – they decided to invent a healthier, more effective option. They worked with US chemists and medical professionals to create their 100% all-natural inhalers.
3) Way back in 2018, when they first pitched their product, they had the inhalers. Now, there’s a whole lineup of products within the Boom Boom Naturals brand. There’s roll-ons, variety packs, and even more scents of inhalers. From mint to melon, there’s something for everyone.
4) In addition to buying on their official website, Boom Boom inhalers are available on Amazon. Not only that, but in October 2020, they announced that their products are in 6,000 stores, including over 800 WalMarts.
5) They continue to receive 5-star ratings on Amazon, and their social media presence has grown too. The Instagram account is verified and has almost reached 100,000 followers. The company has been working with influencers, as well as wellness practitioners. Check out one of their posts below.
