February 14 may be Valentine’s Day, but for American Idol contestants, it’s also audition time. One young talent who’s competing on the all-new season is named Miranda Kitchpanich. We’ve got five facts about her below. So, if you’re curious to learn more about the American Idol hopeful, then keep reading.
1) She’s only 18 years old. Miranda’s played on some of the biggest stages in the USA. Examples include Lollapalooza, as well as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
2) Miranda hails from Seattle, Washington. She was nominated as “best blues vocalist” of 2020.
3) Her musical influences include: Queen, Etta James, and Led Zeppelin. She began in classic rock and blues. But, she has expanded into jazz, funk, and soul music.
4) She sings, plays guitar, and bass. She’s traveled 5 times with the School of Rock as part of their Allstars tour.
5) She can be described as a “rocker with an electric guitar.” Judging by her vibe, we’d say that’s about right!
