Update on Bubble Soccer from Shark Tank

  • by

What do you get when you combine inflatable bubbles that you can slip into, and soccer? You get Bubble Soccer. We’ve seen the crazily popular trend all over social media, but with the nature of this type of competitive, and fun sport, it can be a slippery slope when attempting to turn it into a business. Let’s get a Bubble Soccer Update below.

The National Association of Bubble Soccer, founded by John Anthony Radosta, was an almost successful attempt at pursuing a start up company for bubble soccer, a new trend which began in Norway and has since spread across the UK, USA, and many other parts of the world. The company itself at the time, since checking in on their website, would rent, sell, and provide the official rules for bubble soccer leagues to over 35 cities in the USA. It may seem fun to encased in a 25-30-pound plastic bubble for a good fifteen minutes, but the fun ends once we find out the actual price it is to purchase and join the association. At the time when National Association of Bubble Soccer was still in business, the amount to purchase and join was between $3,000 to $5,000.

Since shuttering sometime after their appearance on Shark Tank, at the time John Anthony Radosta was seeking $160,000 for 10% equity in his company, their social media presence has disappeared, with the only remaining evidence of them existing with posts that are marked May of 2016 and before. I would highly encourage those who are interested to check out their Twitter or their Facebook page.

After scouring Google for a while, I was able to find an update from John Anthony Radosta about his time on Shark Tank up until now. He currently blogs on Medium, be sure to give him a follow and see his story.
