2) Designed by Shannon Zappala and Regan Kelaher, who have extensive marketing backgrounds, they made Goverre their full time job in 2017. That same year, they went on ABC’s Shark Tank to pitch their product to the “sharks.”
3) Goverre’s social media presence is strong, with Instagram being their #1 platform. Their Instagram account has over 22,000 followers, and they post almost every single day. They’ve got Twitter (over 1,700 followers), Facebook (over 8,000 fans), and even Pinterest, all of which are updated almost daily too.
4) Shannon and Regan managed to get not one, but three sharks to go in with them on a deal. They received 200K for a 33.3% stake in their company, partnering with Lori Grenier, Mark Cuban, and Robert Herjavec. According to CNBC, the three sharks went with Goverre because they were impressed by the women’s partnership, plus their early success. At the time of the show, Shannon and Regan were on track to do half a million in sales over a year. Wow! No wonder Lori, Mark, and Robert are still invested today.
5) Not only does Goverre have a 4.3/5 star rating on Amazon, but the product is also in the top 200 of glasses. The reviews aren’t too shabby either, with customers raving that it’s a “great solution” and that Goverre is “brilliant.”
